     Резюме

During the period 2017-2018 at the Institute of Forage Crops - Pleven was studied еffect of pre-seed treatment (priming) of seeds with growth regulator Moddus Evo (250 g/l trinexapac-ethyl) on germination and the initial development of six accessions grain sorghum (Sorghum bicolor (L.) Moench) and four local populations and one variety of broomcorn (Sorghum vulgare var. technicum Körn.) under laboratory conditions, as a means of overcoming biologically delayed seed emergence and the slow growing rate in the initial stages of their development. It was found that: Pre-sowing treatment (priming) of grain sorghum seeds and broomcorn with growth regulator Moddus Evo applied at concentrations of 2.6, 3.0 and 3.8% w/v has statistically significant stimulating effect on seed germination, root growth and inhibition effect on growth of the coleoptile of all accessions included in the experiment. Moddus Evo can be used for pre-sowing treatment (priming) of seeds in grain sorghum and broomcorn at doses of 0.75 to 2.6% w/v - to overcome their biological delay in germination and initial development. Grain sorghum accessions 1643, 16113, and 16121, as well as local populations of broomcorn MI16A and GL15A differ from other specimens included in the study accessions and are suitable for inclusion in various breeding programs such as parental components.
